Our Deacons
Meaning “servant”, the Waterview church has deacons to serve the church in various capacities. Meeting the qualifications found in 1 Timothy chapter 3, these men are assigned specific ministries to meet the organizational and logistical needs of the church. Our deacons serve under the direction of the elders, and are formed into 4 core groups:
Congregational Assimilation
Responsible for member involvement, worship coordination, small groups, and special events to help everyone get involved with the church. Want to know how you can utilize your talents to serve God? This group helps you find the answer to this common question.

Missions
Responsible for seeking new mission opportunities as well as the oversight of existing missionaries. They also manage the distribution of funds raised on our annual Great Commission Sunday. Click here to learn more.

Family Development
Responsible for creating education curriculum and support programs for our variety of family age groups. This includes supporting our children’s and youth programs with teaching resources, and family friendly events to promote unity.
Deacons: Daniel Huddleston, Terrell Martinez, Eric Franz, J.P. Nabers
Community Evangelism
Responsible for evangelism programs in our community. This includes following up with guests, Sunday greeters, special outreach events, grief support, children’s homes, and much more. Anything that involves promoting our church and creating a welcoming experience is vital.
