Hope in Grief

Waterview Dr, Richardson, TX2022 Theme: "He is Enough: Walking with God through Grief and Loss" Join us, and invite others, for this special evening at our annual Hope in Grief service on November 20th at 5:30 pm. The Christian faith has both unique wisdom and miraculous comfort for us in times of grief. Grief resources will be available, and we invite everyone to bring a photo of those they are remembering, to be on display in our foyer during the evening.
Thanksgiving Devotional

We will meet all together, adults + kids, for a time of singing and teaching, plus coffee and fellowship, joined by friends from the local Simply Grace program. Note: this is taking the place of our usual Wednesday evening activities for this week
Breakfast with Santa
Waterview church of Christ 1409 N. Waterview Dr, Richardson, TXJoin us for our annual Breakfast with Santa event, Sat Dec 10th from 9-10:30 am in the South End. Come in your pajamas, stop at the hot cocoa bar, make a Christmas craft, and enjoy a visit from Santa himself! As in years past, we will be collecting NEW, UNWRAPPED toys to benefit the Becoming Moms program at ChristianWorks. Sign-up in the foyer or by calling the office.
Sunday Night Singing
Waterview church of Christ 1409 N. Waterview Dr, Richardson, TXOn our singing nights you may be a little surprised since these will look a little different each time you attend. At times, it will be an opportunity to learn new songs, sing some of your favorites by request, or sing songs directly tied to readings from God’s word. Other singing nights include training for our young song leaders, or you may hear from some of our members about how songs have personally impacted them in their journey and faith.
Faith in Action
At this event, we put into practice what the scriptures say about having a faith that sparks action, so that we can make a difference in this world and for eternity. Most of these events have a 5:30pm start time with a meal at the beginning, but others look a little different in setup if we serve further away from the building. Check the bulletin the week of this event for more specific information.
Family Night
Family Night is a chance for families to spend time together, in efforts to strengthen the Christian home. At times, some of our family groups have used this to create a special activity for their immediate family, focused additional time with extended family, and at other times some of our Bible classes have gathered together for an extra opportunity to build the church family. During the Family Nights we also have a small worship service in the Chapel at 5:30pm for any who are interested in that opportunity.

VBS 2023

He lived a life that proclaimed that "Yahweh is God" just like his name means. And finally, he ascended into heaven in a whirlwind surrounded by horses and Chariots of Fire! This year we will meet: Sunday morning, July 23 at 9 AM (regular hour for Bible class) Sunday evening, July 23 from 6:30-8:30PM Wednesday evening, July 26 from 6:30-8:30 PM NOTE: This is a different schedule than in years past. Link Groups
Link Groups are a great way for our big church family to meet in smaller groups in order to foster more meaningful relationships as we study the Bible in a discussion-based approach. We have groups that have similar ages or life stages, ones with mixed ages, or ones where the members live near each other. Some of our groups meet at lunch, yet many others meet in the afternoon or evening. Talk to Lenin Munguia if you’re interested in joining a Link Group. For those who would rather not be in a small group discussion, but hear a sermon on the same topic, there will be one in the chapel that day at 5:30pm.
