Sermons

On a weekly basis our ministers deliver sermons based in God’s Word that seek to encourage, challenge, and edify the church. Check out the Waterview livestream to watch our services as they happen.

Ecclesiastes

"What's the meaning of life?" Not long after man inhabited this globe humans began to ask that question. The book of Ecclesiastes expected that question and gives us answers. In this lesson we examine how life must never be lived "apart from God" and we look at three practical ways to deal with the frustrations that are common to life (key passages: Ecc. 3:1-15, Ecc. 12:13-14)

But these stories aren’t just interesting; they’re important! As we presented our first graders with Bibles, we discussed the significance of reading the Bible; and how reading the Bible can change you!

Why We Commune

The part of worship we called "communion" or "the Lord's Supper" is very unique to Christian worship. In our last lesson in our "Why We" series we give the biblical justification for continuing this ancient practice. This "sermon" is unique in that we intertwine preaching, singing, praying and communion throughout the majority of the service.
