In 2 Cor. 7:8-11, Paul shows us two kinds of sorrow. The sorrow of the world is one kind. This may be what one experiences when they get caught or exposed in wrongdoing. The other kind of sorrow is better: it's godly sorrow. This sorrow cares more about God than self and leads to the kind of change God requires men to make to please him: Repentance.

In a nation granted rights under their government, we are used to saying, "I have my rights." Our human side flexes our wills and no one can make us do anything. Yet, Paul had to address the question about the Corinthians who said, "we have the right to do anything." As Christians are rights the most important thing or something else? How do our rights affect others? More importantly, how do they affect eternity?
In the final lesson in this series we explore the difficulty of dealing with pain and suffering. Often, when believers go through difficult times they develop resentment toward God. But through exploring how God made man and how we should understand God, we learn valuable insight into this difficult subject.
